How to use this site
This platform provides interactive interfaces for two key datasets: the Antislavery in Domestic Legislation database and the Forced Marriage in Domestic Legislation database. The databases are navigable through two central interfaces: interactive world maps and country profiles libraries. For each of the 193 UN Member States included in both databases, a country profile page provides key insights into the status of ratification of international instruments and the enactment of domestic legislation for that State, as well as featuring the relevant legislative provisions considered in the analysis.

Interactive maps
Our interactive world maps allow you to explore the two legislation databases, visualising the quantitative data that underpins both data sets at a global scale. In the Explore Map page for each database, you can review which international instruments States have ratified and what domestic legislation they have in place. Interactive filters also allow you to review how different factors intersect in the databases.
Country libraries
Our country libraries allow you to browse the two legislation databases, examining the qualitative data that underpins both data sets for each of the 193 UN Member States. In the Browse Countries page for each database, you can access the libraries of 193 Country Profile pages that provide key information on States’ ratification of relevant international instruments and domestic legislation, featuring the relevant legislative texts.
