Use this menu to select the information you want to see visualised on the map below. In the data category, you can pick the type of variable you want to look at, and then select the specific variable you want to see colour-coded on the map. This lets you map many of the different data points included in the database on the global map, to see the distribution of variables around the world.
Use this menu to narrow down the selection of countries that are colour coded according to the map data you have selected. This helps you to look at the relevant information only for particular groups of countries, helping you to better understand the relationships between different factors. You can choose to add multiple filters to narrow down the group of States you are looking at. Once you have chosen a filter, be sure to select the tick button to apply it to the map. You can also remove filters by selecting the ‘x’ button.
Here you can visualise key information about countries you select on the map. You can customise this dashboard with the variables of your choice by selecting the edit buttons next to one of the variables already displayed.
